BCB Productions, the genius behind the sensational Mr. Cebu Pageant and the explosive Diva 2 Diva concert, is proud to present the world-renowned Jed “The Voice” Madela in his first solo concert on August 15, 2009 at the Pacific Grand Ballroom of Waterfront Hotel and Casino at 8:00pm.
Jed has established himself as true world class artist by winning various international singing competitions including the grand prize of the prestigious World Championship of Performing Arts in 2005 and the Voice of Asia International Song Festival in 2003. And like other veritable performers in the country, Jed’s original hits and his superb rendition of all-time favorites bring fresh and new energy to Philippine contemporary pop music. Jed’s hugely successful hit song “Let Me Love You” and his critically-acclaimed covers of several foreign hits like “Because of Love”, “Home”, “Heaven Knows” and “The Search Is Over” have anointed himself as the next big thing in Philippine music.
Joining Jed on stage will be two of the country’s fast rising stars who in their own ways secured a place in a crowded music arena. Laarni Lozada, the young and talented working student from Sultan Kudarat, was the winner of the top-rated talent show Pinoy Dream Academy Season 2. Laarni’s amazing vocal range has earned respect from her peers in the industry including Jed Madela himself. The concert will reunite both Jed and Laarni who wowed the audience for their beautiful duet rendition of Josh Groban’s “The Prayer”.
Also joining Jed and Laarni on stage will be Cebu’s own Gail Blanco, the voice behind the multi-platinum “In Love” series albums and the phenomenal Papaya song. The success of Gail’s recordings, her concerts and TV appearances have proven herself as one of the country’s most gifted singers in her generation. Having worked together for over 6 years, Jed and Gail will once again mesmerize the audience with their distinct vocal power.
